For as long as I can remember I have always loved painting. My passion is creating minimalist style landscape impressions.
I studied graphic design in College and have always been drawn to the simplicity of lines and shapes that create interesting images. My paintings reflect the drama of the sky juxtaposed with the stillness of the ground. I am inspired by the infinite space of the sky and enjoy the challenge of creating unique palettes that compliment and create visual interest in my paintings.
My palette most often includes a variety of blues and greys which represent the temperamental changes in the sky. I am fascinated by the continuous movement of clouds, at times filled with colourful drama or simply layered in grey hues creating a monochromatic moodiness that fills the sky.
